No Fishing
I took this shot while I was walking across the Royal Gorge Bridge. It's 1053 Ft high,
and it's the Arkansas River below. I want to see someone fish from there... :)
And by the way, the winds there are so strong that as you walk across, you can see the
bridge sway.

Royal Gorge
This is apparently the world's highest suspension bridge. It's rather impressive, and
takes on vehicular traffic, though you can go only at 10 miles an hour.
I took this photo while I was on the world's highest cable car.

Invesco Field
Here you go. Denver's very own ball park. Actually, this is one of the two they
have. The Denver Broncos play here. They are a decent enough team, and won the
super bowl a few years ago.

Nuclear Shelter
Near Denver, there's a cave called the cave of the winds. It's an interesting
cave where the guides take us through the different paths inside and show
us the different stalacites and stalagmites and cave popcorn. Apparently,
it's also a nuclear shelter, coz this sign is right outside the cave.

Stanley Hotel
I remember reading Stephen King's The Shining in 1993. I didn't think too much of the
book, but the movie was rather good. This hotel, on the edge of the Rocky Mountain
National Park was the hotel in the movie.
It's an impressive building, but once you get in, it's a dump.

The Rockies
The Rockies. And no illusions. What you see here is exactly the way we saw it.
It's unbelievable beautiful.
In front is a frozen lake fed by a glacier system. It's frozen solid, but you never know.
