Homecoming

I found a nice bunch of flowers right outside our house. Took a quick shot, and
this is what came out. I think that my lens is woefully inadequate to take close
up shots, so I am glad that the flower series is over.

A Bed

Today was a long day. I didn't have time to take the camera out. So I thought
I'd post something from the reserve. The one picture that stood out was
a bed of flowers which contributed to yesterday's flower. So, here goes...

Flowers over Coffee

I used to pass this patch of flowers every day on my way to get my
cup of coffee. One day, I though I'd just get a picture of a few of
my friends.

From the Corner of an Obscure Field

In Chevoit Hills, there are a few golf courses. One of them is home to our
subject. Golf is a rather slow sport, so this chap prefers to watch the action
on the street, and was kind enough to pose for me.

A Lonely Tree in Bloom

When we went to take the beach shots, we came across this tree,
alone on the beach front, and in full bloom. Rash thought of
taking a shot of the flowers on it.

I upped the saturation a tad bit, but the sky (and I swear) was
like the way it is in the picture.

Tale of the Two Studios

This flower lives in the Fox studio compound, and the building right behind it
(you can see it out of focus) is the MGM.

Mmmm, Die hard vs Tom and Jerry. And a flower. Happy Valentine's day.

Weeds of Long Beach

This shot was taken while on the way to the Belmont pier we posted last week. I like the small white flowers and how they contrast with the green.
