Fountains by the Cliff

I got bored posting beaches and cliffs. Here's a fountain I took a shot of
(Or was it Rashmi?) on the way back from the temple once. And oh, by the way,
it's Shivaratri today. Jai Shiv ji ! :)

Rapelling on the Rock Face

Soon after this shot, a group of people hooked up their gear and started rapelling down this
rock face. It was awesome. I wish I could have joined them. The only time I did it was
when I was in Sasken, and I remember the instructor saying that I was rather good for a
beginner. Oh well. Some day, I'll do it again.

Private Steps

The really rich folks have houses on the cliff above and have private stairs going all
the way down to the beach. That's like the ultimate. The view is unparalleled too.
Now, to win a multi million dollar lottery...

Santa Monica

I put this shot in coz you can see (On a clear day) the Santa Monica Pier from the cove that
we halted. Even in this picture, you can make a faint outline.

I'd recommend a hike in this area to anyone who can. It's an easy hike, and the air is a
lot purer, though you are not really very far from the city etc. And it's rich man's kingdom,
so you can go there and sigh a lot :)

The Jagged Coastline

Same hike. Nice position for a private beach. There were high rock formations on two
sides, and a cozy beach in the middle. Coming to think about it, it's an awesome
place for a nude beach.

Rocks of Malibu

One hike, a few months ago, Rash and I chanced upon this rock on the shores of
Malibu. I have no geological inclinations, so I can't say what rock it is. However,
I do know that it wasn't similar to any other I saw there on the beach. And it
sure did stick out :)

Temple at Malibu

Rash, Harish and I went to the Malibu temple a few months back. It's a so-so temple.
Papa says that his cousin designed it. And sure enough, I saw a name similar to
his on the plaque there. Oh well...
